Seasoned entrepreneurs got together over a cup of coffee, driven by their shared vision of contributing to NEW INDIA's growth story. Their aspiration was to empower visionary entrepreneurs and create new age industry leaders, drawing upon the reservoir of their own experiences. From this emerged the concept of initiating an early growth investment fund, aimed at nurturing teams daring to envision grandeur.

Kindly read the guidelines below before dropping us your pitch.

We are a sector agnostic investment platform and evaluate opportunities across sectors. However, we have a preference towards sectors where we have a deep domain expertise such as Supply Chain, Logistics which include:

  • Sourcing & Manufacturing innovation
  • Automation & Robotics
  • Warehousing, 3PL / 4PL, Distribution plays
  • Circular Economy
  • EV Ecosystem
  • SaaS, Analytics / Big Data, other technology plays
  • And Peripheral sectors which include consumption plays that are dependent on Supplychain for growth as well as financing related to Supplychain.

We look for companies that have a product market fit and are in their early phase of growth, looking to raise a Pre-Series A / Series A / Series B round. The business should have achieved some degree of business model validation, wherein the product / service has already been launched and is gaining traction.

We look for innovators and disruptors with strong and sustainable unit economics, scalability and a strong founder and management team.

That being said, these are just guidelines and nothing is set in stone. We do make exceptions opportunistically.

Our ticket sizes go up to US$ 10M (INR 80 Crore) over multiple rounds; however, opportunistically we can do larger / smaller cheques too.

We seek a significant minority stake, thereby, exhibiting our skin in the game to help grow your venture into a business. Our support includes leadership coaching and mentorship programs, hiring assistance, capital structure planning and support for future fund raises, in addition to anything else that the business or you may require.

Everyone has their own style of storytelling – so there aren’t any hard rules; however, we would appreciate it if your presentation covered the following:

  • An elevator pitch: 5-7 lines on

    • What your company does
    • Pain points you are addressing
    • Sustainable differentiation vs. peers
    • Amount of capital you intend to raise
    • Where you intend on deploying the raised capital
  • Market and Industry – Tell us about your industry, its market size (incl. the target customer base), its growth rates, its recent trends, its drivers and its challenges.
  • Business Model – your revenue model incl. your products and / or services, pricing strategies etc.
  • Team – Help us understand the founding team’s background (incl. qualifications and workex), roles and motivations in addition to introducing your team’s (incl. advisors and Board of Directors). Do also share information on your organization structure and your current shareholding pattern (Founders / Promoter group, Institutional investors, Angel investors, ESOPs, others).
  • Financials – An overview of historical and projected revenues, gross margins, key costs, EBITDA and PAT in addition to current net worth, total debt, gross fixed assets, cash available and net working capital cycle.
